  • Please arrive to the start location of each stage prior to your category start-time

  • All categories will be scored separately

  • Awards will follow the completion of each event at High Side! Bar & Grill

  • Weekday events start at 5:30pm sharp - all other start times are estimated based on field size.

  • Think you’re fast? - Ask others in front of you if you can start before them.

  • Plan accordingly for 'Transition’ stages to each Stage Start location - some may take more time than others to climb to.

RULES

  • Respect the folks that you’re riding and racing with - Be kind, courteous, and a good sport. We will not tolerate poor sportsmanship.

  • Weekday Series Title in each category will be calculated based on your top 3 results.

  • Starting: One foot down rule. You might must have one foot on the ground when starting. No trackstanding.

  • DO NOT START until after you here the word “GO”. The countdown will be “5, 4, 3, 2, 1, GO”. You must wait until you hear go and it’s better to be a split second after. If you start early, you will be assessed a 10 second penalty. That penalty will be assessed prior to results being finalized and made official. 

  • No Course Cutting or Cheating of any kind - Race Director will issue penalties for such infractions

  • Leave No Trace Principles shall be followed on course

  • Unsafe Passing is dangerous - When you catch a rider that started in front of you, loudly and clearly communicate with that rider in order to find a safe place to pass. If you are caught by the rider behind you, you are required to pull over when it is safe to do so. Please don’t make us penalize either parties for not abiding by those instructions.

  • Helmets Required

  • Full face helmet, Gloves, Knee and Elbow pads are highly recommended

TRANSFERS/EXCHANGES/WEATHER

TRANSFERS: Transfers will be allowed until 48hrs prior to the start time of each event. We have set up our registration platform at bikereg.com to allow users to transfer entries to others and to edit their registration. This will allow you to log on and transfer your entry to someone you have lined up, change categories, team name, rider’s name and contact details, etc.

REFUNDS: We get it…sh*t happens…please do your best to transfer your entry via BikeReg. If you run into a situation in which you need to cancel, please email us at info@salidaenduroseries.com.

WEATHER CANCELLATION: It’s Spring in Salida…whats the worst that could happen…

No, seriously, we don’t want to have to cancel or post-pone any of our events, but causing damage to the trails doesn’t help anyone and we’ll be working with our partners at Salida Mountain Trails to evaluate trail conditions if adverse weather occurs.

If weather dictates that any of the scheduled events cannot take place, we will reach out to all participants the afternoon prior to the affected event.

NUMBER PLATE PICKUP

  • WEEKDAY SERIES - Each week we’ll be stationed on the back patio of High Side! from 3pm-5:30pm for number-plate pickup. Make sure you give yourself enough time to get to the start location before your category starts!

    • DAY-OF REGISTRATION: 3:00PM - 4:30PM

      • Online Registration closes at 8pm the night before the weekday races.

  • WEEKEND 1-DAY - Friday April 26th @ High Side! from 6-9PM

    • MANDATORY RACER MEETING - 8PM
